A school that lines up in the quarter-finals won its one-eighth contest. That is not a guess, it is how a knockout works, and the counting holds it up: 14 one-eighth contests here, and 14 schools carried into the quarter-finals, exactly one out of each room. Nine quarter-finals, nine semi-finalists. Three semi-finals, three finalists. 26 outcomes on that basis, and the build re-derives every one of them against the next round's line-up before it will publish the page.

The preliminary stage does not behave that way. Three of the eight preliminary contests here sent two schools onward rather than one, which you can read straight off St. Francis Xavier Jnr. Sem. and Wesley SHS, Bekwai; Mt. Carmel Girls' and Kumasi Wesley Girls'; University Practice SHS and Presby SHS, Suhum. So whatever the 2022 preliminary round was, it was not one-of-three-survives, and no preliminary contest on this site carries a winner. What they carry is a list of which schools are known to have gone further, which for one of them is nobody at all.

Bishop Herman College and Osei Kyeretwie SHS go straight from a preliminary to a quarter-final in these records. They did not skip the one-eighth round; their one-eighth contests are not in the playlist the organisers published. That is the plainest evidence here that the playlist is not the whole season.

None of this produces a score. The scores were read out on television and written down nowhere this archive can reach. They are in the 35 videos linked above, and that is the only place they are.
