Rules, so you can check the work instead of trusting it.
Three lenses
The switch at the top of every page changes what you are looking at. Record is the archive as it stands. Receipts marks every sourced figure so you can open it and see where the number came from. Gaps lights up what is missing or disputed and dims what is settled. Same page, three questions: what do we know, why do we believe it, what is still open.
Every figure is cited
No number goes on this site without a source record carrying the publisher, the title, the URL and the date it was retrieved. Sources sit on the page that uses them.
Four grades
Verified: complete and internally consistent, meaning round totals ascend and land on the reported final. Partial: real but incomplete, with missing fields shown as a dash rather than a guess. Disputed: two credible sources disagree and it has not been resolved, so both get shown. Missing: the information should exist and nobody here has found it.
The build checks the arithmetic
Cumulative round totals must never decrease and must equal the reported final. The all-time title counts must reconcile to the number of contested editions. School colours must carry a source. The build refuses to run if any of that stops being true, which is why the 31-edition tally here can be checked against anything else you read.
Colours are sourced, crests are not used
10 of 86 schools carry colours taken from Wikipedia infoboxes, cited on the school's page. The rest show a blank swatch. Crests belong to the schools and are not reproduced here.
Contestants are schoolchildren
Records stay inside what the competition itself made public. No dossiers, no following people into their later lives without a public source and an archival reason. A name in an official contest report is in scope. Everything past that is not, by default.
Media is linked, never rehosted
Broadcasts stay on the channels that made them. Video players load only when you press play, so a page with a match on it still opens on a slow connection.
Referenced, not absorbed
The Gong Gong, CIMG and IPR indexes stay on marketing.kaditay.com beside the Ghana Agency Index, because that is where their readers are. The Store Room catalogues them and links out.
Unofficial, and loudly
The National Science & Maths Quiz is produced and owned by Primetime Limited. The Store Room has no connection to them. The name is used to say what is being archived.
Corrections are public
When something here is wrong it gets changed and the change gets stated. The correction form and the contribution form are the same form, because in practice they are the same act.
