The information exists.The record doesn't.

Ghana keeps its history in fragments: a Wix page nobody updated, a WhatsApp group, a school filing cabinet, somebody's YouTube account. The Store Room is where those fragments get put back into a record you can search, check and argue with.

Ghana Music Awards

Twenty-seven years of what Ghana chose to recognise

Every winner from 2000 to 2026, taken out of the organisers' single long table and rebuilt as a record. The table writes these awards 269 different ways; most of that is typing, some of it is Ghana changing what it called its own music, and this keeps the difference visible.

A note from the person keeping this

I think I've accidentally become an archivist.

Not the gloves-and-boxes kind. I just keep finding things that mattered, things we all experienced, talked about, obsessed over, then somehow allowed to disappear into broken links, dead websites and scattered posts.

So I made Store Room.

It's where I keep the things I don't think should vanish. Ghanaian culture, moments, records, people, competitions, stories and whatever else sends me down a rabbit hole.

Some of it is important. Some of it is wonderfully random.

All of it felt worth keeping.
